ANWB Slimladen

The app is compatible with most cars from the following brands: Tesla, Volkswagen, KIA, BMW, Audi, Škoda, Hyundai, Renault, Ford, Cupra, Toyota, Mini, Porsche, Seat and Jaguar. Please refer to the FAQs on our website for more details on which models can be paired with the app.

Start smart charging now
Set what time you need the car again and plug in the charging cable. Our app ensures that you automatically charge when the electricity is cheapest for you and the car is ready for you, charged on time!


This can be during off-peak hours of a fixed or variable contract. But do you have a dynamic energy contract such as that of ANWB Energy? The rates then differ every hour and the app automatically chooses the lowest hourly rates. Your advantage is then greatest.


Good for the wallet and the environment
The lowest hourly rates, especially with a dynamic energy contract, are also the hours when there is a large supply of green energy from wind and/or sun. This not only saves you hundreds of euros per year on your energy bill, but you also charge with a lot of green(er) energy!


Overview of consumption and emissions
In the app you can also see how much kWh you have charged and what the CO2 emissions were. The CO2 intensity of electricity varies hourly. The smarter, the greener!


Help our overcrowded power grid
Think of smart charging as driving outside rush hour. If there is a lot of demand for electricity, the app pauses charging and only continues when there is a lot of supply from sun and/or wind and less demand. This way we prevent traffic jams and accidents on our energy grid.


Smart charging with your own solar power
Thanks to our smart charging algorithm, you can also choose to charge only with self-generated solar energy. That is even cheaper and greener.


Do you need your car sooner?
You can then stop smart charging at any time and charge at maximum speed from your charging point by pressing the 'Boost' button.


Use your own charging point
The app works at any home charging point. It does not matter which brand your charging point is or how fast it can charge. The charging session is controlled by your car.
